Lying Snake Oil Scam Artists

I received an email with a link to a website, which had an advertisement for the Acai Berry touting weight loss, free bottle, etc. I looked at the so called testamonials, and thought I might give it a try. I had to enter my credit card number for the shipping charges, but they weren't too exhorbitant.

My credit card was charged for the correct amount, and I thought nothing of it until I receive another bottle. I hadn't signed up for any subscription, there were NO "terms and conditions" like the heavily accented customer service representative claimed when I called after receiving a 2nd bottle AND my CC statement. I had been charged TWICE, once 10 days after receiving the "free" bottle, and again 20 days later, plus international charges, plus other fees.

What was promised to be a free bottle for $6.95, turned into $183.81 for two bottles of unwanted, unusable, undesired, snake oil equivalent.

There was no "Terms and Conditions of Use". That is claimed because by the time you realize what is going on, you can't swear on an oath. They always have the abiility to add to their website if taken to court.
