I, sucker that i am, signed up for a FREE TRIAL BALANCE of GNS's "Acai Berry Edge". For the grand price of $3.97 shipping. At no time during my sign up was i informed that this was a 21-Day Trial and at the end of 21 days i would be charged $79.90. (you can bet, if i was so informed, i would have cancelled my order then and there!).

The site also doesn't inform you that your trial COMMENCES THE DAY YOU ORDERED THE ITEM.

I (and others it turns out) did not receive the item til 15 days later.

Not three days after receiving the item i get an e-message saying my credit card was going to be charged $79.90!!! What???

From that moment on it's been the big fight. I finally get a return authorization and promised that a credit would be applied to my card 3 days after receiving the item. I shipped it back and paid for a tracking number.

So three days after them receiving the item no credit to my card???

Further queries have them telling me i didn't get it back to them in time... As they considered my 30 days to be from the date of purchase and not from the date the item actually got delivered to my home!

Many many calls later - i give up. I reported them to the BBB and my credit card is now fighting the "good fight" for me.

As a test... I went onto their site and up to placing an actual order... I noted, AT NO TIME, was a disclaimer presented regarding the trial being of a certain length and that length commenced the day the order was placed. Nor is this information presented to you in the email confirmation of your order.

However, the packing slip included with your order does indicate this. However one is immediately blindsided by the fact you're now on an auto-renewal program. Which of course you cancel immediately. Not reading further... Cuz most people focus on the auto renewal thing... Is a statement saying your credit card would be dinged for the $79.90.

These people are smart... Don't be taken in like i was!!!
