In Belgrade, Montana crooked, rude, no integrity, uses illegal practices

My daughter was a patient. She stated that she had no insurance on the paper work she filled out. They proceeded to bill an insurance company. How they decided which one I don't know.
I was making payments that were agreed upon by Nicole, for 4 months. They accepted and cashed the checks. I also told her that the balance would be paid in full by late Jan or early Feb of that year (4 months away). Once they rec'd the letter from insurance that there was no coverage on her, they demanded payment in full. They also started to return the checks that were sent in for payment stating it was not enough. Two weeks prior to them being paid in full they turned her over to collection. Made several calls to Nicole and never rec'd call back.
I contacted the State Attorney Generals office and was told that because they did not put it in writing (we had discussed this over the phone) they were allowed to turn her over. Apparently, this is an ongoing problem in the medical field. It is a way to get these off their books for the end of the year. They take a loss for tax purposes.
What they did was wrong. They lied, had her in more often for a better return with the insurance company and when they found out this wasn't going to work they were rude and inconsiderate including the Doctor, Clint Bryan.
I have always paid my bills! I stuck to the verbal agreement made, have all the paper work, dates, times... And now I have to take them to small claims court. The sad thing is that this is why we have so many medical bankruptcies.
Bottom line - GREED!
