On 11/17/06 I entered into a contract with Dr. Bassin's office for some facial texturing. When it came time for the SX I had to cancel and I attempted to re-schedule or be refunded my down payment in writing. Since than I have called and attempted to talk with the office manager, sent one certified letter, personally visited the office, whereas, the manager and Dr. Bassin both would not come to the front desk.
When I resorted to the Better Buisiness Bureau they responded and we sent three letters back and forth. They claim to the BBB that my money was refunded, but when I asked why won't they show me a canceled check all communication stopped. Consequently the BBB sent me a list of governmental agencies to report him to.
As of this date I have turned the account over for collections to include 8.5% interest, and I have written to five agencies over seeing physicians in Tallahassee. I'm in the medical field myself and i'm governed by the same agancies, but I have no idea why a doctor would want negative publicity. After almost two-years it appears that he doesn't care.
