Laser Shaping Centers
Charged me for services that I did not receive

I went to the Laser Shaping Center (now out of business) in the middle of June. Went for the hard sell, and applied for credit for services with their center. The charge was going to be approximately $4800. They made an appointment for me the following week to speak to the doctor and go over the procedure. After giving the whole thing more thought, I called them the next day, and canceled the appointment and told them to cancel the credit as I would not be going through with the procedure.

The person that answered the phone said okay. I never heard any more from them, until now. I received a credit card and a statement for a monthly payment. When I called the CareCredit (866.893.7864, www.carecredit.com and very hard to get a live person to speak to at this number). They said they would send me a dispute form to complete, spoke to a John and called a second time and spoke to someone to Casey (female) trying to see if I would get a different answer from them.

Then I proceeded to go to Newport Beach to speak to someone in person at the Laser Shaping Center to get something in writing that I indeed had canceled the procedure only to find out once I got their office door was locked and after talking to a couple of people that work in the building Pacific Medical Plaza and calling the leasing information office, and calling the emergency building number (Brown Associates, I discovered that they packed up and moved about 2-3 weeks ago I was told.

It is an awful shame for these people to scam me and so many others. If anyone is preparing a class action lawsuit please add me in!!!
