Does not allow to cancel membership which is not in my name

Iam 17 signed a membership with bally's when i was 16 im still in high school and have a part time job. My friend signed my contract in his name (he is the buyer) so i can have a membership i was not told it was a 3 year contract and could not be broken. I should have read the contract before signing but i figured it was a good deal cause i was told i was "getting a discount". Can you blame me i was 16.

Once i read over the contract im tried to cancel but was told it had to be done within 3 days of signing the contract. A couple of months later i lost my job and could no longer pay for it i was again denied.

I explain how the contract was not right i have no relationship to who signed my contract even though it says he is my brother we are not communicating anymore also it isn't under my right name. They gave me my friend's last name to complete the contract.

The manager himself told me if i want he can stop the payments on my card and leave my friend with the debt or find a doctor to write me a note saying i have a medical condition and is unable to attend the gym.

I have another friend who canceled his membership by talking with a manager of another gym getting loud refusing to leave untill it was canceled he told them he'll give away the membership they told him he could not.in the end he paid a $200 fee for cancellation.

I need help from anyone who is willing (no fees involved) i need to have this resolved! I have my dogs vet bills n help my dad pay bills!
