Treated unfairly

I am writing in response to what the individual Marie K from Bristol, CT wrote. I am the other personal trainer she mentioned. And although I don't agree with what they did to me, I want it to be known that I didn't write that report. If I had I would have signed my own name to it. I have been accused of writing it under a different name, which is stupid and senseless to even accuse me of. If you think of it, why would I hide my name.

So I'm writing this to set the record straight. I've been accused of writing a bad report so I may-as-well just write my own. I was employed under Cardio Express as a personal trainer (National Certified) and I was working there for a little over a year. I have been a member though, for for than 4 years.

Recently cardio express decided to outsource the personal training. Which means they told me I could no longer train members. This was to be done by the other trainers. (some of which don't have their personal training certification) How this benifits the members, I still don't understand; but I found out when I came to work on a saturday. No one let me know before hand, no one met with me, to discuss any alternatives. This was a big slap in the face to me, taking away my personal training was a good part of my income at Cardio Express.

So I gave it alot of thought, and decided to give my 2 weeks. Upon hearing that, the VP called me and she told me they didn't want me to stay for those 2 weeks. I was also told I could no longer step foot in the gym! This was a little overboard considering I know alot of clients, members, and friends. I was treated like a criminal and I've put up with alot of BS while working at Cardio Express. I know a handfull of members agree with me, and thats why someone took it upon themselves to write a bad review.

I've also taken the liberty of paying for a couple cleints of mine to work out at another gym. All this has made me realize that the managment at Cardio Express doesn't care at all about their employees. If you have been a member at all in the last year or two, you know what I'm talking about. Also if you are a previous client of mine, and you would like to work out with me still, you have my number. Call me and we can work something out at a real gym!:)
