Dr. Ernest Eason
Was forgetful about my Mothers care and caused her to die!

Hi,
I just want to say beware to any patients of Dr Eason. My Mom died in 1995 because of his lack of care and forgetfulness. I have also heard other comments from others about loved ones dying, and come to find out, they had also been seeing Dr Eason.
Now, I know things happen and Dr's aren't God. But I feel this was his fault that she is gone, and will never get to meet her new grandson and had to leave her granddaughter at only 8 yrs old. And this world at only 48 yrs old. This is what happened.

I didn't know alot about it until after she had passed and I had to get copies of her medical reports.

Mom had been complaining of stomach pain and weight loss for a period of 7-8 months. She had seen Dr Eason a few times for this and finally he ordered an upper GI. That was about April of 1995.

The results came back that she had an artery in her intestines that was partially clogged with a calcium deposit.instead of trying to treat her for it he did nothing.

Four months later, one evening I looked out my front window to see an ambulance at my mom's residence. (I lived just across the street). I rushed outside to see what was wrong and the paramedics were carrying her down her steps and placed her onto the stretcher. She was in so much pain. I had never seen my Mom hurt so bad in all my 28 yrs. I grabbed my daughter and headed to the ER behind the ambulance. Dr's there were baffled but kept her and gave her some med's to ease pain while they ran tests. They did an ultrasound the next morning... Which picked up something they weren't sure of.

Later in the day, they did a CT scan. It also showed something and the Dr's thought it may have been cancer. (Dr Eason was working with the Dr's by now on this). By that night she was very bad, and was placed in intensive care. I didn't want to go home but she assured me she was ok. To get some rest. She would see me the next morning.

Well, Around 2am a nurse called me and said Mom wasn't doing well and she wanted to speak to me. I'm glad she called. My Mom told me she loved me and that she was feeling really bad but didn't want me to come to the hospital in the middle of the night.By 5am, the nurse called again telling me she had taken a turn for the worst. To come right away. I did and by 9am she was gone.

Turned out that that artery had burst and what the scans were showing was gain green. Dr Eason called me with the autopsy results to tell me this and his exact words were, if I had only thought to remember that, she would still be here.

Not only that, I had learned later in the hospital reports that during that night they tried to put some sort of catheter in her neck and they accidentally punctured her lung and had to insert a chest tube. My Mom suffered terribly. While I don't blame this Dr for causing this condition. He should have looked over her records early on. Or atleast remembered this problem. She had been a patient of his for many years!!!

Please, If you or your loved one goes to this Dr. Beware... You have been warned. And the suffering is done by the family if something happens. And once gone, you can never bring your loved one back.
