Be afraid, be very afraid - don't even consider these people for health insurance

Completely inept. The sales rep lied like a used car salesman and continually wanted to give me hugs (seriously.) I was "declined" because I had anxiety attacks 6 years ago. I told that this is an automatic denial. I told the sales rep this when we first met. I also told him that I needed to have my new insurance start no later than 12.1.07 (as my former work insurance expired 11.30.07) It went all the way until 12.23.07 (I had to hound them for an answer) and they
said "declined".

I asked if the sales rep knew that ANY history of panic attacks was an automatic denial and the CSR said "yes" There I was, not insured and had to start all over again. The shyster that I dealt with had a responsibility to inform me of their policy from the start. I was 150% open and honest with him, but he did not offer reciprocity (chasing his little commission no doubt).

I have never written anything like this in my life but I am THAT upset at how I was treated. If I can help other people avoid this experience, then I am doing a public service.

They are also "in bed" with NASE, though I have yet to figure out their connection.

P.S. - I am in excellent health, no drink, smoking or no drugs, no meds, physically fit, no surgeries, 44 years of age, etc...
