Took payment for 1 year membership & closed doors, 1 week late

I joined this fitness club on 11/29/07. I had stopped in several times previously and talked with the owner, Tony James. He assured me that the gym was viable and in good financial standing.

I paid by check, which was cashed. I arrived at the facility 12/6/07 to find a note taped to the door reading: "Due to Financial problems, we have to close the doors."

There was no notice to any members of the closing, until it was posted on the door.
