Empire Fitness Marine Park Location Collecting memberships knowing business would close amounting to frud

As a previously satisfied menber of empire fitness club I am saddened by the owners callous disregard for honesty. Members were deceived into believing the gym would remain open even after the first closing. The workers didnt get paid and deliveries stopped. When asking the owners representatives about the status of the gym we were told not o worry. The owner (thief) continued to sign members knowing he was going to close. I lost $649.00 for a membership for me and my son. What can I do to recover my money and what will authorities do to prosecute a criminal?
