Ripoff dishonest fraudulent creative billing

Had an appointment with Transvision on 6/13 for a contact lens exam. Called beforehand to make sure they take my insurance. Get there, fill out the forms, give my insurance card to the receptionist, wait to see the doctor. Exam went great. After the exam..."I'm sorry... We don't take your insurance." But I called beforehand and you took my information before I went back!"Sorry." So...$291 for a contact lens exam out of my pocket. Not right in my opinion.

So I go back on 6/20 for my follow-up appointment. Everything is great. The contact lenses are working for me. Dr. Tran says "we're gonna give you a year supply of lenses." So I'm thinking, great, at least that will somewhat make up for what happened a week earlier.
But... I only get a *prescription* for a year's supply of contact lenses. That's not the same as them "giving me a year's supply of lenses".

Overall, it was an awful experience. I would not recommend their service to anyone. They are deceitful and their rates are outrageous. I could have paid full price most anywhere else and left having paid less than $100. Transvision Eye Care is a complete RIP-OFF!!!
