Fraudulent applications & billings Ripoff

My wife needed an operation due to a botched prevous operation from the same medical center.

She was in between insurances as she was just starting her own business. CRMC (Catskill Regional Medical Center) explained to her what to do, apply for medicaid and if she was refused to come back and fill out a Hill Burton application. She was denied medicaid and the hospital gave her Hill Burtons application which took my wife and her accountant a week to fill out with all her business & personal info.

The hospital gave my wife written approval for the Hill Burton assistance and set up her operation date and doctor Etc...

Two years later we are served with a summonds to appear in court as the hospital is sueing for $14,000 plus court, lawyers fees etc. We never received a bill or even knew we owed this money, We weren't that worried as we had all the paper work the hospital gave us and we assumed the whole court thing was a mistake.

Before court date we received a judgement that our failure to appear and the hospital was awarded the judgement.investigating this further i discovered that CRMC is NOT a Hill Burton facility, they had no business taking their application, Their lawyers, Micheal Zager of Monticello, N.Y. (know as doing things down & dirty to win a case) pulled the local governmental strings to get this done, also i found countless local people that had the exact same thing happen to them. It seems the hospital uses the very personal & private Hill Burton application to get info to evaluate your finances and then sic their lawyers after you if you own anything.

To date Micheal Zager law firm has a lein against our home, attached my wife's & my bank accounts and has harrased us to the point of suicide or bankrupcy. I have contacted several lawyers including the NYS Attorney generals office and NOBODY will even respond to our letters & emails. If i ran my business with this kind of deception and dishonesty i would be in jail and my name on the front page of the local newspaper.
