Theft by staff goes ignored by administrators and police

After being taken to the ER at walton regional medical center, my grandmothers purse turned up missing. The staff eventually found it and returned it to us but in the mean time, had taken down the numbers of all her cards, and off her check book. Within 2 days of her ER visit, all of her bank accounts were emptied and all of her credit cards were maxed out to the tune of $20,000.
When my grandfather and the police went to the Hospital to discuss this issue they were met with attitude and zero cooperation from the Hospital. Even with video tape of a hospital employee going to bank after bank from monroe GA, to Charrlet NC, the hospital refused to cooperate. Charges are now pending but the Hospital declined to fire this employee stating that it was our fault that she had her purse, and that hiring felons with theft charges was not their problem.

What a joke of a hospital.in return for my grandmothers visit to that hospital, she was then over billed and charged for a week stay, and was there no more than 72 hours.
