Miscellaneous

A young man claiming to be the son of a local doctor came to our door soliciting books to be purchased for children in hospitals. He said the a portion of the proceeds would go to his baseball team The Bandits. My wife gave him a check for $160.00. When asked which hospital to send the books, my wife told him the name of a local hospital. He stood there with a blank stare, then just told her to write the name of the hospital down for him.
