Wrongfull termination Ripoff

I was a happy and honest employee of this particular Banfield. My one year anniversary was two days away (along with my promised raise) when I was contacted by one of the corporate yuppies. They insisted we talk privately. I did notice that they had already talked to a coworker of mine, who left the room crying.

During the phone conversation. The woman told me they could have put cameras up or used hidden "shoppers" and that I better tell the truth. They said they KNEW that I had stolen $4000 in cash and they had proof. A LIE! I am no thief!!! They told me that they would help me if I had stolen $ for bills or rent, but not if I had been partying.

I defended myself and told the absolute truth. When the phone conversation was over, I spoke to my direct supervisor, who agreed there was NO WAY I could have stolen anything. Apparently, the corporate yuppy called the cops, and told them that I had confessed to stealing. ANOTHER LIE! Shortly after that, the Memphis PD showed up to arrest me.

I had left for the day, and my supervisor told them I had not stolen anything. When I found out about the incident, I called the corporation, who reaccused me of theft and put me on suspension pending investigation.

TWO WEEKS LATER... I was terminated. (though they admitted that I hadn't stolen anything!) I called dozens of times to inquire as to why, but to this day NO ONE will return my phone calls.

The staff at this location is pretty honest, But be weary of any corporate dealings. They will go back on their word and cheat you out of whatever they can. They have ruined my reputation and mistreated all of my previous coworkers. They are manipulative and will screw you to the wall any way they can.
