Hidden membership fees, direct funds withdrawl without permission ripoff

The exact same thing happened to me as happened to another consumer in Oklahoma. Without health insurance, I have no other way of being able to afford my prescriptions.

Not only did this company take TWO MONTHS to confirm and process my order, but they were entirely unavailable by phone or email through the process. The only way I was able to communicate with them was via my doctor, as attachments on his approval faxes (he had to send approval faxes three times, as they "lost" the first two approvals *AND* didn't contact my doctor to let him know).

When I was finally able to contact someone by phone, the customer service representative actually mocked me to a coworker — she had assumed the call was disconnected, but I hadn't hung up because I had further questions. When she realized I was still on the line, she apologized profusely.

Obviosuly, telling a customer she'd take care of something as important as a prescription medicine that day and then turning to a coworker to say, "Whatever, I'm off in fifteen minutes, I'm not doing *nothing* else today, because all these people who call here are crazy anyway, " was not only unprofessional, it was also personally reprehensible. I'm a self-sufficient, business-owning professional with a college degree, and I don't take kindly to being called, "crazy, " be it to my face or otherwise.

This this month, I noticed a monthly charge on my bank statements. When I called the company to inquire about the "membership" charges, I was told that when I first placed my order (five months ago), there was a small notification that I'd be enrolled in a "trial" 30-day membership, and I'd have to cancel before the 30-day deadline in order to avoid being billed $17.24 every month.

Given their indefensibly poor service and proclivity towards shady business practices, I'm not entirely sure there ever was a "30-day trial membership" notification anywhere. I certainly don't remember seeing it. However, even if there was, I CERTAINLY never authorized the direct withdrawl of funds from my bank account on a monthly basis.

I haven't yet been able to take legal action, but I'm working on it.in the meantime, if you're like me and HAVE to order prescriptions online due to cost, please do yourselves a favor and avoid this company, and tell your friends to do likewise.
