Ripoff E-mail scam Delivery Scam Unauthorized withdrawal from Bank Account Theft

I ordered a free trial of their products which only stated that I would pay for shipping $4.95. I read all of the fine print and terms and conditions. While their terms and conditions were very wordly and didn't make much sense, it clearly, did not spell out any agreement for future payments, late fees, charges that would incur if you did not cancel or/nor did it state you were being put into a monthly program for future shipments or charges. I did not, clearly, like others who have fallen prey to Pure Energy Products spam, I did not authorize any other charges or shipments. I received their product within five days of my paying for the FREE samples, and just tossed it aside somewhere in my home.

Well, low and behold, two weeks later, I checked my banking online and discovered a charge of $149.95 pending processing on my account, 11/29. I was like, "What the hell!" I called the number associated with Pure Energy Products, got someone on the line (the guy even sounded professional) then was switched to customer service. Customer service is nothing more than a voice mail stating that they are busy, to leave a phone number and a message and they will get back with you. I left a message. I then quickly notified my bank that this was a fraudlent charge on my account. Since the charge was still pending and had not yet posted, I was requested to call back the next day to file my charge.

The next day I called my bank back bright and early to file my charges. Once I got to the person in fraud control, she asked if I had tried to settle my complaint. I stated that I had tried to reach the company in question. She asked to do a three way on the phone. I told her no problem. It was not surprising that "we" could not get anyone from the company on the phone.in the meanwhile, I have requested that my credit card be closed, my money has been refunded through the bank and will remained refunded till the bank goes through a fraud investigation. I will clearly be supplying them with all of the literature I have found out about the company.

Hopefully, the company can be shutdown and made to pay restitution to those they have scammed. Unfortunately, company like "them" will file bankruptcy before they will pay back anything. This has taught me a big lesson, please guard your credit at all cost. Free trials are usually not free, please read the fine print. If the fine print does not spellout clear instructions, don't bother. But truly, I would like to see this company put out of business!
