Price Gouging ripoff

I would be interested in knowing if there is anyone besides myself that is aware of their practice of price gouging. I recently had a cardiac stent placement. I received a bill in excess of $38,000.00. As an example of the markup the stent that was used cost them no more than $3,000.00. They charged me $16,910.00. The normal reimbursement by Medicare and private insurance is no more than $10,000.00. I am considering class action against this hospital before they ruin me or someone else financially.
