Eckerds Drug Store
Eckerds ripoff drug store the pharmacist that stole 20 of the 30 pills prescribed

Health & Medicine

Who can you trust.

On july 17 i went to see my doctor.
The weather has been brutal here in philly.
So my husband and i decide to have the prescriptions filled directly up the street from the doctors office. (wrong choice).

We stopped briefly to pick up some lunch and went home.
Got home took my prescriptions out the bag to review them andput them away.

I opened the bottle containing the pain medication and there where 10 pills in the container. T then looked at the amount typed on the label and it says 30.

I called the pharmacist and he got very defensive.

My husband called the pharmacist area supervisor and asked if they could pull the store survalance to review what had just transpired in the last couple of hours and he was told thattheir transactions, including dispensing of medication is not under survalance.

The proceedure is that two people review the medication before it leaves from behind their counter.

That would mean that they can give you the wrong medication and/or fail to give you the amount prescribed to you and their is no quality assurance or survalance capturing system in place that can hold them to accountability.

There is definitly a problem at this eckerds and it needs to be dealt with and if this is the practice of our pharmacies throu out out our cities i'ts time for that policy to be revisited.

*check your medication before you leave any pharmacy*
