Skyfission, White Over Night, Nova Pointe ripoff Ordered a free sample instead received fraudulent charges to CC—company does not refund Mountain View Ontario

I ordered a free trial of White Over Night for which the cost of postage was $3.95. The postage was charged to my CC on 2/1/06 and on 2/2/06 $106.90 was charged to my CC. I immediately called the company to question this charge and was informed that when I signed up for the "sample", I agreed to buy an autoship which would be shipped out immediately. I assured the woman that I had not received my sample nor the autoship, which I would not be keeping. I would return it as soon as it arrived. The woman very disinterestedly stated that was fine but the money would not be refunded.

I stated that I had not even received the sample so I didn't know if I would like the product well enough to order more. She assured me that both the sample and the order had been shipped.

Well, here it is over a month later, and neither package has been received and the charges remain on my credit card. I called again to complain and requested since neither the sample nor the product had arrived that they just credit my account. This person stated she would send it out again. I replied that I did not want it. She said that was fine, but the charges would not be removed from my credit card.

This is fraud, pure and simple. I note there are several other people who have had the same experience. I am hopeful that something can be done in this case. Over a hundred dollars is a lot of money.
