Depaul Health Center is a joke!

My husband was there twice for the same thing. I am so digusted by the care he recieved that he or my children will NEVER go there again. He was in severe pain, has lost almost 30 lbs. & had to take time off work, more than he would've had to. They did nothing for him & refused to any other tests to figure out the source of his pain. When we asked for other tests they discharged him without seeing the gi doctor. Sent him home with pain meds that has not worked (they gave him his visit 3 days eariler). They knew it could be an ulcer but would never do any tests to see if it was. They only focused on the gallbladder. I stressed to them that he wasn't able to eat or drink for 6 days. I could go on but it would take so long. Bottom line: They did NOTHING for him, they refused to do any tests that I suggested. Even I knew it could be the esophigus & I'm not even a doctor. His regular doctor did the appropraite test & started a treatment that has since helped trememdiously. If Depaul would've listened to me & my husband in the first place then we wouldn't be here in the first place. Now I'll be stuck paying all these hospital bills for them doing NOTHING. I will be filing complaints to ever i have too.
