Horrible Customer Service

Electronics and household app.

I went to Fry's and purchased a cordless vac. Fry's price was 69.99, a local wal-mart's price was 59.96 in-store. Fry's advertises a price match. I showed them the price and asked for the price match as advertised on their website. They refused to give me the full price match and charged me shipping and handling. I asked to speak to a manager for an explanation. Their explanation..."we just do". I ended up calling corp and spoke with Serge. He didn't even want to hear the complaint, instead he wanted to take my contact info and have a store manager contact me. I explained I was already there and spoke to a manager. He didn't care, he said that was all he could do. He gave me the run around saying that I probably talked to the department manager, which wasn't good enough and that I needed to talk to the store manager. When I am there and asked to speak to a manager and nothing gets done and then I get told by corporate that I need to speak to someone else at the same store is crazy. How many people do I have to go through. When I was there I spoke to 4 people. Speaking to a manager should be sufficient enough. No one did their job and everyone gave bad customer service. I hung up and called Fry's where I purchased the vac. I spoke to a manager on duty at the time that said if I brought in my receipt in they would refund the shipping. I felt like I was getting the run around and very poor customer service. When I was already their originally I got poor customer service, 2 employees were arguing about charging/not charging me the shipping. At first they didn't even want to give me the price match and when they did it wasn't even the full amount. Then calling corporate was a waste of time. These employees are allowed to act this way and get away with it. I rather go elsewhere an pay a little more for a product if it resulted in me getting better customer service.
