Ripoff bank check

After having my hair done, I asked when the check might go through, and the manager said not until the 1st of January, which would've been a week later.

The check got to my bank within two business days, and bounced. I went the day after I discovered it, and gave the manager a check from my significant other to cover the amount.

The manager told me when my check came back to her, she would replace it with my significant other's check. This was on December 29th.

On Janurary 24, the check came through my bank again, bouncing once more. I had not been monitoring my account, because it has no money in it, so I wasn't writing checks.

I didn't look at my account until January 28. I started calling the Regis Corp. On January 31, the check was run through again. It bounced once more.

I called and left another message with Regis Corp. Someone called me back, and asked me to send proof. I sent copies of bank statements, and a copy of the check I replaced the bounced check with.

I sent these on February 3rd. On February 15th I was told a check would probably be cut, and that Customer Relations would call me, if they 'hadn't already.'

I gave it a day, then I called the person in Customer Relations I had been given the number of. It's now February 23, and I have heard nothing. I left two messages.

I entered a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on February 21. Today I looked up my complaint online at their site, and it had some information about the Regis Corporation.

It stated "You should be aware that the company you have filed a complaint against maintains an unsatisfactory customer experience record with the BBB of Minnesota and North Dakota.

"In the BBB's experience, this company may or may not resolve complaints presented to them."

I doubt they will ever cough up the money charged to me by my bank. That is why I wanted to do anything I could to tarnish their record. This company owns many smaller companies. I'm sure it is a billion dollar a year company, and they cannot cut a check for $92.00. Pitiful.
