Cruel Treatment

Michelle M Rowland, RN, LICSW regarded me cruelly when I was in the hospital in severe pain. She knew my condition, but she ordered me to get up and start walking. I hadn't been able to walk for several days, since my neurological disorder had attacked.in an effort to comply, I tried to sit up. Alas, even more horrific spasms of pain besieged me, and I could not! She degraded me for my inability and ordered me to be put out of the hospital. I could not even move enough to get into a wheelchair (she had said that I was to leave the hospital in a wheelchair)! Were it not for the interference of a few friends, I would have been put out unable to move or take care of myself! Dr. Christopher Meyer aided her by writing a discharge order when he knew that I was in a helpless state. This happened at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital in Brattleboro, VT.
