Ridiculously slow in processing prescriptions

CVS Caremark is an existential, sisyfean nightmare. You want to kill yourself after unsuccessfully trying to get your prescription. The cheery voice says, "I can understand your frustration."

My company recently switched to CVS Caremark from Medco and I am appalled at how terrible they are. My prescription just sits there for days without the slightest movement. It takes them two weeks to fill a prescription that if they were efficient, could be sent out the same day!

When you call, you have to go through several redundant menus giving your name and date of birth, your address, your phone number and your prescription number and then you asked for it yet again when you finally speak to someone. What a freaking waste of time!

The customer service people then keep you on the phone while they check their records, only to finally come back and give you wrong information, or tell you in the end they cannot help you.

If you ask if it's possible to PAY to have them send it faster, they say yes, but they don't ship on weekends or holidays, so it's a waste of money.
