CVS Claims Computer Issues. Can't complete prescriptions network wide on Thursday!

Prescriptions filings were halted and customers offered "loaner drugs" until systems returned to service at least 8 hours later. Has Caremark taken their eye off their core business? What kind of corporate leadership leaves front line clerks and Pharmacists to explain to the public their failure to secure viable business systems and appropriate backup solutions. This looks like your typical "box of rocks in the HQ office.

I was told this was a national issue. Of course Many of us are required to use only this processor by our very large corporate Insurance plans.

I am sure I would have been allowed to use a Walgreens, Target, Walmart etc. But at additional cost. Is it time to regulate the supply chain and execution of these poorly run organizations programs? Very disappointed in Cvs/Caremark for inexcusable lapses in service.By the way not first time I have experienced this break down
