False advertising

I purchased a dress from SimplyDresses.com just a few weeks ago. It was for my wedding that was quickly planned, but nevertheless the dress I received from Simply Dresses was too small. Which was strange since I purchased it two sizes too big.

I took it to a seamstress who does some of David Bridal's stores, Dillards, and many other large retailers and she had me try it on and then took it off and looked at it and stated did you purchase a used dress? I said NO! She said that's what you have. It was missing the bra like strap for strapless dresses and it had already been altered (and was not even a size 6).

If it had not been for the same dress that I purchased from Zarabridal (which by the way I may have said ZadaBridal) in other reviews, but my mistake after I looked at me email receipt from them. Anyhow, I had originally purchased the same dress from Zarabridal, but it appeared it would not come in on time. So I rushed to by this one on Simply Dresses.com. However, I paid over $221.00 for a dress that I could not use. It was USED and ALTERED! I think the consumer buying such an item should be made aware that they are buying something used and altered! Plain and simple! Do Not Purchase here if your in a hurry and you'd better not buy anything that says Final Sale - No Returns... I guess that is suppose to tell you that your buying a used and pre-altered dress???
