3D TV Deal with Mattress Purchase - LG Blueray Playe

We purchased a Tempur Pedic mattress from The Brick on a special offer to include a Samsung 51" 3D TV. We purchased one and our friends we brought along liked this deal and also decided purchase one (almost $7,000 sale). We also negotiated the purchase of a supporting Blueray player. It wasn't till our friends purchased a 3D movie 8 months later that they couldn't get to play because the blueray player we had been sold wasn't 3D. We tried to take them back with the bill of sale to get an exchange or even just the face value off an actual 3D player and pay the difference but were told NO by the store manager it had been too long. We reasoned that why would they sell us a plain 3D Blueray player when the TV they had included was 3D and he said that was our words (so you say, sir) basically calling our friend a liar. We have since purchased a 3D Home Theater System, not from The Brick but our friends still are without a 3D blueray player and would like to get this resolved. We told our story to many other people in town and not to shop at that store as they are untrustworthy or any other Brick for that matter.
