Unacceptable business practices

We bought family room furniture in the packet on Sept. 26 and compensated by mastercard which is due in early Nov. The Packet informed us shipping day on Oct. 12. We now have been educated that shipping is likely to be on Oct. 28. Completely inappropriate to us. Can it be recommended to provide them before 28th although not following the mastercard statement arrives? Any recommendations?
