BROKEN BOOKCASE - Bookcase

I purchased the 5 shelf bookcase for my granddaughter's bedroom (who recently came to live with me because of famiy issues). After opening I notice that both side panels were cracked, this makes this item unusable. The side panels hold the book case together. I am on a very very tight budget, so I don't have a $100 to run out and purchase another one for her. Trying to make her enviroment as confortable as possible I was heart broken. I became even more distrubed when I was not able to speak to a real person after calling the toll free number provided. I work very hard to earn a living, when I make a purchase it is thought out and planned. This item looked like it was good for the price. Needless to say I don't believe will be making any more purchases from this company. And I think Target should take them out of their store.
