Store Pickup Cart Handed Over Without Wheels or Connectors

Wow, I normally go to Lowe's, but they did not have what I needed in their stores or online, so I was left with my last choice... Home Depot. I was quickly reminded why I never shop at this store!!!

I ordered this push cart online to be picked up in the store the next day. I showed up today at the service counter, and the guy looked more than miserable that he even woke up this morning. He did not say anything other than, "What's your name?" I gave him my name, and he looked at me and said, "What are you picking up?" I said a push cart. He turned around, went further behind the counter, and pulled out this cart. Okay, whatever, it looks like it does online. I got my paperwork and left. The whole transaction pretty much occurred in complete silence.

I got to my car and put the cart in the trunk, and I was looking at it... and something did not seem right. This dude literally just gave me the plastic cart and its handle... No wheels, no connectors, just the flat bed part and the push handle... REALLY!?!?

I went back in quickly, bypassing the miserable soul, and an associate asked if I needed help. I explained my situation, and I could tell this was not normal by the fact that his left eyebrow was pretty much in his hairline when I told him it did not even come with wheels! He kindly showed me where the carts were, and of course they were in the garden area covered in dirt and spider webs... Awesome, this just gets better every passing second. These carts are wrapped in plastic shrink wrap with a label, and, don't you know, all of them have wheels and the connectors! The one I received was not even packaged properly... Nor did it come with a label from the manufacturer!

The associate even carried it out to my car for me, not that I could not handle a 7 lb. collapsed push cart. So thank you to the associate who felt my pain and clearly also felt it was unacceptable to hand me merchandise that should not even be on the floor! Never again will I stray away from Lowe's!!!
