Target
Target's "new" Archer Farms

Furniture & Equipment

I'm writing regarding Target 's new organic Archer Farms oatmeals. I was extremely disappointed (as are so many others) that Target/Archer Farms changed what was such an excellent product to what is barely a mediocre product. To say the least, the sugar content rose, and the fiber went down from 10 grams to a paltry 4 grams! That is truly deplorable especially for a brand (Archer Farms) that is trusted as having high quality and nutritious products by its customers. How can Target allow modification of a product to its detriment? Slapping an "organic" label onto it doesn't make it alright. This is not a step in the right direction, and I know I speak for many of Target's customers when I say that I'll now be less trusting of the Archer Farms and Target brands. Quaker Oats now has a oatmeals that blow away the new "organic" Archer Farms, that was not the case before. If Target continues on this path people will turn away from their brands. A modified product should be an improvement to its forerunner, not a deterioration.
