Cake rip off

Our child requested her wedding meal from Whitman's Bakery in Waynesville, NC. Her wedding was March 17.

The problem began on wedding day, dessert wasn't prepared simply because they have been "condemned" with a event around. This isn't anything my child must have to be worried about on big day! Which dessert which was requested weeks earlier must have come prior to the event

Whenever we finally got the dessert it was lop sided, whichever method you switched it, it didn't appear directly. Dessert was said to be rectangular, it had been circular. It had been designed to have brown facts, these were butterscotch colored and never standard in dimensions.

Grooms cake was said to be blood, it had been orange. Both desserts were dried and tastless, like they'd been cooked times before.

The bakery continues to be chilly and uncaring, they've hung-up on-US and operator has declined to come quickly to the telephone. They've no-interest in attempting to provide a partial reimbursement.

I'll never darken their doorway again, and certainly will inform anybody I will concerning the service-we have obtained.

Incidentally... The dessert price $500.
