BENQ advertised a rebate and has not followed through. Do not purchase their product thinking you will recieve a rebate. Nationwide

I purchased a benq 6100 projector from Erie computers that had been advertised with a $100.00 rebate. This was to come in 8-10 weeks. I sent in the rebate information at the beginning of June and to this date October 15 I still have not received anything. That's over 18 weeks! I have called numerous times and the phone operator (who I think is based in India) keeps telling me that they check has been processed and is in the mail.

This check has been "in the mail" for over 2 months. I'm thinking that this is a rip off or the company is about to go out of business and is holding back as much cash as possible. If you've got investments with Benq or it's holding company, you may want to rethink your investment stratagy! I'm only out $100.00!!!
