Dish Network
Is a disgrace

I have been an unfortunate customer of Dish Network since September. I have had troubles since day one. The initially blew me off on the installation day, after they promised to be ther by a certain time.

I called numerous times that day and wa told they would be there, but they never arrived. When they did arrive three weeks later, they hacked the installation job worse than a 10 year old would have done. I have a 40 foot high house, but apparently the installer is afraid of heights, he mounted the dish 4 feet off the ground, where anybody can tamper with it.

When they did the inside work, it was worse. Each wire that they used is 10 feet longer than necessary.instead of trimming the wires to size, each wire is coiled up, and laying on the ground.

Upon hearing my complaint the installation manager came to my home, took pictures and agreed the entire job was an abortion. He further agreed to correct the job, and make the necessary repairs to my home, to cover the holes that are in the wrong spot. Well, those repairs never came, although I have placed in excess of 50 phone calls to them. They are by far the rudest and most ignorant jerks I have ever dealt with. Virtually every person I spoke with has been arrogant and ignorant.

Consequently, due to my dissatisfaction and their inability to properly complete the installation, I called the installer and told him to come take all his garbage back. He responded promptly and took his equipment. Apparently he never notified Dish Network, because they are still billing me for over $900.in unreturned equipment. Today, when I received my my bank statement I found a $250. Debit from Dish Network on my account. I never authorized this deduction, and it made me about as mad as a hornet.

I immediately responded to my local court and filed a small claims suit. HAs anybody had any similar experience. I would be interested in learning about other peoples experiences. If you have never had any experience with Dish Network, consider yourself lucky and steer clear of them. I will update about my suit in hopes of helping others.
