RIPOFF - collect call from 10 minutes away and was charged 20.14

I received a collect call today from my husband at a pay phone. He was only 10 minutes away from home.
Later today I looked at my bank account statement and was shocked to see a $20.14 charge from a company called Teleconn Las Vegas NVUS.
At first I wasn't sure if this was the collect call, but then I googled and saw all the other reports people have put on here for being ripped off by this company.
I would understand if it was an international call or something, but 10 minutes away from home? Seriously screwed up.
Something needs to be done. This company cannot get away with charging outrageous prices for a simple collect call.
When you accept the call, it doesn't even give you the option to hear the cost of the call. But of course, if someone is calling you collect from a pay phone, it is probably urgent or an emergency-so you accept the call anyways.
As for me, I am going to dispute this charge with my bank.
I talked to a banker and he agreed that this is outrageous and that I should dispute it.
My question though is, what can we do to STOP this company from ripping people off?!!
