Phone only worked 6 days, only used 20 mins of 1000 minutes for 30 days & takes 6-8 weeks to replace

I purchased Ready Mobile phone for $40 and a phone card for $30. I only used the phone for 6 days and only used 20 minutes of the 1000 minutes for 30 days before it quit working. Customer service tells me that it will take 6 to 8 weeks to send me a replacement phone, so that my the time I get it, I will have lost the $30 I spend for the phone card and I don't have a phone for 2 months.
