Circuit city esp is a rip off they stole my car stereo store is clueless

On 05/07/04 i bought a car stereo sony model#cdx9900 with the e, s, p plan unit was $615.00 plan was $229.99 so total was 990.09 with install... A few weeks later deck starts skipping and when cd's were ejected were burning hot. The in car temp could be below 60;degrees still burning up. So went back to store the tech said it would be a 5hr wait before they could even look at it.

So i said i will bring it back in next time i get a chance so i parked the car by the way this car is not a dailey driver so total miles driven with my stereo about 65-70. Miles tops anyway took stereo back in on 07/08/04.

It took apox/5. Min to take stereo out and the tech said wow unit was super hot he could not even hold it with his bare hands. Store took stereo have not seen it since store says sony has it sony says store never sent it traced u.P. S found out sony has it but they dont know the progress of unit.

The store is clueless every time i call they say call back on tuesday on tuesday they say call back on friday i have two event#'s the store even said for me to call sony and start investigating the whereabout's of unit myself. Wow talk about self serve.

Store says there hands are tied because i dont have the unit in hand they cant do any thing!!! I handed it to circuit city they sent it out to god only knows where and it;s my fault W.T.F.

Well as of 08/14/04 no stereo & no refund will never buy anything from circuit city again or sony...
