Clearance 3D Adapter Had No Power When Set Up at Home

I purchased a Mitsubishi 3DA-1 3D adapter over the weekend. The item was in the clearance item no mention of any issues. All the docs and remote were in the box, however, when I try to set it up at home there was no power to the unit. It seems no one check if it was in working condition before RC Willey put it back on the shelves at a discounted prices. I would think - this item would be a lemon product - Be warned - stay away from their clearance items.
