Ned carlson No refund on returned item

I ordered a Raycop Sterilizing UV Vacuum Cleaner for $ 82.34 ($69.99 12.35S&H) from Tubezone in April. Item arrived 2 weeks later and was defective out of the box - would not power up. I called Tubezone (Ned carlson) as was told this was a warranty issue and I had to call the Ewbank Carpet Sweepers for a replacement. I protested that they sold the product and they owed a working product. They refused a refund and insisted on passing the problem to someone else.

I called Ewbank and they agreed to send another with a return package and shipping label. That arrived a couple weeks later and was also defective (missing parts and UV light would not come on), so I decided it was a poorly made product and I wanted a refund. Contacted Ned - he contacted Ewbank Co (Melissa) and she said to send bothe vacs back int the original box with their return shipping label and the they would issue a refund. I complied and NEVER received a refund.

I called and emailed Ned, left messages that were never answered. Finally called Ewbank to confirm they received the package and request a refund. Melissa confirmed that they had received the vacs AND that they issued a refund to Tubezone - and that I needed to take the issue up with them. Again, attempted contact and was never answered. I tried to file a dispute with my Credit Card, but because I used their shipping and did not have a receipt (even the the company acknowledged receiveing it) they could not issue a credit. So I am out the $82.34.

I would catagorically recommend you NOT do business with Tubezone and I have my doubts about Ewbank Carpet Sweepers.
