Worthless Gimmicks

I had left one cell company due to poor service. What used to be nationwide coverage had become excuses of "there's a tower down." Yeah, seemed like everywhere I went (I was an over-the-road truck driver), from New York to LA, towers down EVERYWHERE! So I had left that company and went with T-Mobile.

I was offered a great plan, with this seemingly "great" phone. At least the phone was advertised as "great." It was their own T-Mobile Comet. It was offered free with a 2-year agreement. Having had prior experience with T-Mobile, I jumped on it. I've always had good service with their prepaid, so I felt confident getting a contract with them.

So I get the little phone, and it worked pretty good for about 2-1/2 months. Then I would go to use it, and it would say "Emergency Calls Only" and I couldn't make any calls, send texts, or use the internet.
