I bought the ' SPRINT PHONE CONNECT ', but of problems my Mom later tells me, they will not exchange it

I travel between Sarasota and Clearwater, bout this device while I was in Sarasota (Bradenton), set it up for my Mom, to use, and was back in Sarsota for awhile. My mom says she is really having problems with it, so when I get back to her place to pick it up, I return it to be looked at, it gives of a realy loud earpiercing tone when somebody leaves a message, they said that possibly the volume control on the phone could be adjusted..., I don't think so, it had a message on it so the guy checked, then after, no ear piercing noise. My Mom accidently died 911, and somebody tried to call back, this phone does not allow for this. They have that written in the very small print. Also my Mom could not make local calls without dialing the area code ; and the earpiercing tone that it emits just isn't something that should be allowed.

Finally, I have had enough of it, moved the phone device 10 feet away from the phone, but still doing the same thing. I tried taking it back to a Sprint Store in Clearwater, NO CAN DO, it's after 14 days, they say I have to take it to the other SPRINT STORE at the Clearwater Mall, So I take it to that store, NO CAN DO it's after the... 14 DAY WARRANTY..., I tell the guy that I was leaving it there, He said NO YOU AREN'T, so I open the box and drop it on the floor, he picks it up quickly, and puts part of it in my note book and ushers me out... So i throw the thing down on the concrete in front of the store clearwater mall store. As I said I was returning it.

I am quite sure This product shouldn't even be sold on the market, it really isn't compatible with hooking up to your home phone. Suckered once again... William, Clearwater, Florida
