Help! LG washer/dryer quit - WM2233HW

My LG washer/dryer combo quit after only three months. I paid over $1200 for it. I have 4 children and am an attorney and don't have time to go to the laundramat.

I need this unit replaced, not repaired. A circuit board melted and LG did not have a replacement part.

Please help me get this washer/dryer combo replaced. I will always be afraid it could catch on fire, if parts can melt while running.

I am in Portland, OR and was on hold for 43 minutes this morning trying to get a service tech scheduled by LG to come out again.
