Did not deliver ordered product. Did not live up internet ad. Product is junk

I recently ordered an antenna from Antenna Deals.com. The TV antenna I ordered was the LAVA HD 2605. I know enough about TV antennas and knew that there may be something fishy about this but I wanted to get one of these anyways. I read the reviews about this so called company after the fact that I had ordered this. I will not buy anything from this Name anymore. When I did Bing searches on certain details of this company, it took me to a mapped location in Nigeria. If you look closely at the web page, there are certain details in the web page that would indicate that it's not all that real. This company did not ship in 24 hours as advertised. I did contact through email and that's probably what prompted this person to ship the product. It was about a week and a half later when the product showed up and it was not the part number I ordered. They shipped an HD2805. I had already read some reviews about this outfit and decided it was not worth the trouble to ship it back. Idid connect it to see if it worked and it did. The product is such a piece of junk that I would be reluctant to hang it on a tower. I do plan on putting it up at some time but I may just put it in an attic or inside application. Having an electronics degree and knowing how RF propogation works, for the most part, any claim of 150 miles range with this antenna is bogus. Unless you live on a mountain top, I doubt you'll get more than 60 miles with this. I bought this because I wanted to just try it out and I thought it looks pretty neat. Just remember that you get what you pay for. Stick with reputable companies and if it's too good to be true, it probably is.
