I ordered an Antenna for my 1997 Mercedes C280 online fr0m Bimmerspecialsits. The Antenna that I received was a universal model but specified that it would fit a 1984-1992 Mercedes C280 NOT a 1997 Model. Bimmerspecialist s advises that this is my fault as I did not check that the Antenna shipped would fit my car even though the Antenna shipped specifically stated that9it wouldn't. Therefore I must send it back at my expense and pay a 15% restocking charge. The last straw is that, although I ordered from Ontario, I must send it back to California and pay any duty, taxes etc owing. So it will cost me more to return it than it cost to buy it.
A total rip-off and a warning to others about this company and the perils of buying online
