Electronics and household app.
Same story as before. Two guys, this time in a black Explorer yelled at me at a stoplight and asked if I needed any speakers. I didn't, but I'm always curious as to what other people are up to. Well, I'm already broke so I can't afford to spend $300 a speaker, which was the first offer they gave me.
I kept insisting that I wouldn't be able to purchase anything, but I'd like to help them find a way to get rid of their merchandise. After they said they wouldn't go to a pawn shop, I got rather suspicious, but I thought I'd be able to resell any units I got for at least what I paid for them. No harm, no foul. I purchased one set for $150 after jotting down the liscense plate number (which matches that of one mentioned in another post.) I DO know someone in law enforcement, but I assume the plates are fake since it was a different colored vehicle.
After our transaction, I descretely followed them for several blocks. Even though they claimed to be from Sacremento, CA, they were taking several back-alleys and side-streets. I think they eventually noticed me after several minutes because they got on the freeway and took off.
