Ripoff rebate rip off on 17" kogi monitor never received rebate and called and they could find no info on me said they were not responsible for lost mail oh well

I purchased a Kogi 17" monitor for 430.99. It had a rebate of 50.00 I filled out all the information correctly, kept copies for myself. I never received a check. I called the rebate center and spoke to a woman who kept putting me on hold and asking me the same information over and over. The last time she came back on the phone and said I cannot find any information that we ever received your rebate forms, unfortunatly there is nothing we can do, since we are not responsible for lost mail. I told her fine that would be the last time I ever bought anything from best buy.
