Laptop distruction - Dell Inspiron 1525

I took my 2 y/o dell insprion to the geeks to clean it up and help it to run fast. It was running fine, some complaints about the vista, but all it needed was cleaned 200.00. They talked me into installing Windows 7.. Sounds like a good idea. Now we are up to 310.00.. 3 weeks later it died while trying to defrag. Took it back... The harddrive is dead? So now they sold me a new hard drive... Up to 400.00 to fix a 2 year old computer... How stupid was I... Never never again
