Refusal to honor warranty

The mic jack on my Canon 7D would never hold my mic plug. A Few months later while still under warranty the Mic stopped working. Upon closer inspection I discovered the jack was cracked. I sent it in for repairs and they want to charge me over 625.00 and not cover it under the warranty. RIP OFF! I am told they do this quite often and there warranties are pretty much junk. Buy a Nikon! Stay clear of this company called Canon. Can't even find the company info on the BBB web site to file a report.

NEVER NEVER buy a Canon. I am selling all of my Canon equipment and going with Nikon. And the 7D always took muddy photos compared to the Nikon's
